West Indies registered their first win of the tour as they beat Australia by 27 runs in the only T20 International at Brisbane on Wednesday.

Chasing 192 to win, Australia lost opener Aaron Finch early after he inside edged Darren Sammy’s delivery outside off-stump to get bowled on four.

Shaun Marsh and Adam Voges resurrected the Australian innings putting on 74 runs at a good pace for the second wicket. Voges departed soon after scoring a half-century after Devon Thomas’s direct throw found the batsman out of the crease. Voges hit two boundaries and two sixes to help Australia keep up with the required run-rate.
