Bell said that it was nice to come and get some runs after the team's Christmas break and that they are looking to carry on from where they left off. England had beaten India 2-1 in the four-match Test series prior to the break.
"It was good to spend some time in the middle," said Bell.
However, England lost their warm-up game by 53 runs in chilly Delhi and face India in the first ODI at Rajkot in January 11.
