Kolkata Knight Riders wicketkeeper Manvinder Bisla said they are looking to carry forward the winning momentum when they take on Rajasthan Royals on Friday.
"We have the best team in the IPL. We lost to them but we have the momentum. We have the belief to win on our ground," he told reporters in a media interaction.
Bisla scored a crucial 46 in the last match to set the platform along with skipper Gautam Gambhir (64) but their middle order crumbled once again before managing to 165 for 8.
The poor batting display has been a problem for Knight Riders in the last three matches and Bisla hoped that their middle order batters find their rhythm soon.
"We are losing some crucial wickets. It's happening regularly. We have the batsmen and ability to deal with this," he said.
Bisla said there is no added pressure on him in the presence of New Zealander Brendon McCullum.
"Brendon is a superb player, a good human being. He is helping me out. I know I will get a chance sooner or later. It's a team management's decision."
