India's win against Pakistan in the third ODI at Feroz Shah Kotla saw a young 22-year-old pacer Shami Ahmed do well on his ODI debut. Coming from a small village of Sahaspur in Amroha town of Uttar Pradesh, Ahmed bowled well to keep the England batsmen on their toes.
Ahmed talks about the pressure of playing in an India-Pakistan match and thanks his parents for their immense support in his efforts to make it to the Indian side.
He also believes he is ready to play against England and is eager to pick as many wicket as possible. He thanks the selectors and MS Dhoni for giving him the opportunity to play for India and says he would continue to work hard and keep his place in the side.
