Watson, who was dropped from the Australia squad for the third Test at Mohali after failing to give inputs to coach Mickey Arthur, will reach India on Tuesday morning.
On his departure, Watson told Cricket Australia’s official website, “I’ve had several constructive discussions with team management back in Mohali over the past few days. We've spoken about how we are going to work together to move forward, as Australia attempts to climb back to the top of the ICC rankings.
