Sunil Gavaskar has expressed his concern over the current state of the Indian cricket team, which is set to face England and Australia in four-Test match series each this season.
Gavaskar opined that England’s “final frontier" could prove to be just a small hurdle as they take on a "vulnerable" could India.
We must remember that England have not won a Test series in India almost three decades.
Gavaskar said Team India is going into the four-Test series against the world's number two team with a "wobbly" could batting line-up and a weak-looking pace attack, with spin being the only encouraging factor.
He said, "Amazingly the situation is eerily similar to the tours of England and Australia last year."
