Joe Root: 10th batsman to get three 150 or more Test scores before turning 24

The baby-faced Joe Root (23) became the second England batsmen, after Len Hutton, to score 150 three times before the age of 24.

Root has an exceptional record at Lord’s cricket ground. He has scored two hundreds from three Tests – including his highest score of 200 not out. Against New Zealand last year, he had scored 111, against Australia he 186 and a month back against Sri Lanka, he scored an unbeaten 200. His 512 runs at this venue have come at an average of 102.40.
