Despite the many achievements, there have been professions that have found difficulties with the man’s stature. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is one such profession. Rahul Shrivastava has more…
Sachin Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973. The gentleman is celebrating his birthday by casting his valuable vote in the Lok Sabha Election 2014. He may not rule the search trends today but everyone knows how he ruled the search trends during his illustrated career of 24 years. During the peak of his career Tendulkar was a nightmare to all the international bowlers. Sachin was equally a nightmare to Internet Marketing professionals and SEO professionals like me as “Sachin Tendulkar” was the hardest term to optimize and rank for and everyone expected and wanted us to rank for him.

Term “Sachin Tendulkar” was among the most searched players for many years. Even in 2013 when he retired from international cricket “Sachin Tendulkar” was the most searched sportsperson on Google. When he had scored the first One-Day International (ODI) double century the servers of several cricket websites crashed. I still remember the news paper headlines for next day which was incidentally also the day after Railway Budget was announced but Tendulkar ruled the headlines and he got far more coverage than the national lifeline, Indian Railways. One can vouch for both offline and online marketing teams Tendulkar was the toughest cricketer to cover.
For an Internet Marketing professional ranking on the term ”Sachin Tendulkar” is like conquering the world for them. And we at CricketCountry are proud to achieve that feat quite a few times when it mattered most, be it his last test, his battle against injuries or 100th international century. Covering Tendulkar gives pleasure to us and not nightmares!
I do not recognise the term “Sachin Tendulkar” as a former Indian cricketer but I associate this name as a gentleman, a genuine human being who even after retirement has the same charisma as he had on field. We want Sachin to rule the search engines again and again. We will love to find “Sachin Tendulkar” as one the most searched person on Google Zeitgeist 2014 & all the coming years. Hope he remains pleasure to cover for us and nightmare for all the Internet Marketing professionals!
Happy birthday, Sachin Tendulkar! We miss you on field. Wish you a happy, healthy and long life ahead and let’s witness your charisma for years to come and hope you remain the toughest keyword to optimize as always.
