West Indies almost pulled-off an incredible winagainst Sri Lanka in the first One-Day International (ODI) at Colombo in a rain-curtailed match. West Indies will look to level the series in the second ODI to set up an exciting finale at Pallekele. PramodAnanth looks the likely XI for the second ODI at Colombo (RPS). Scorecard: Sri Lanka vs West Indies 2015, 2nd ODI at Colombo (RPS)

Top-order: The opening combination Andre Fletcher and Johnson Charles are likely to retain their place in the playing XI as it would be really unfair to drop them after just one failure. They will hopefully get West Indies of to a good start. With Darren Bravo coming in at No.3, the top-order seems to be sorted for now. Middle-order: Marlon Samuels, who will perhaps lead the side in the absence of Jason Holder, who has been banned for a match due to slow over-rate in the first ODI, will look to use all his experience to set a platform for a big score. He has not been in good form in the last five matches and will desperately want to get some runs in this match to regain confidence. Jonathan Carter will once again retain his place and this could be his last chance to make an impact.

DeneshRamdin will hope that he gets to bat a little higher up the order after having batted at No.9 in the first match. Hard-hitting Andre Russell will be the all-rounder along with Carlos Brathwaite, who had bludgeoned 113 off 58 deliveries in the tour game before the series. Lower-order: With Holder ruled out, it will most likely be Ravi Rampaul taking his place. Although they might be tempted to play an extra spinner considering how well Sunil Narine bowled. If so, DevendraBishoo might be an excellent option. Narine almost won West Indies the match courtesy of his three-wicket haul and he will easily walk into the team without any questions asked. Jerome Taylor was slightly on the expensive side, but he is experienced enough to know how to bounce back. The tail wagged magnificently in the earlier match and more of the same will be expected from them in this match as well.
