Match No. 34 will see Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) lock horns with Gujarat Lions (GL) in the ninth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). The match will be played at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. SRH batting has been a bit inconsistent up until now but have kept it in sync with their excellent bowling show. They would want to continue their winning momentum against GL after registering a massive 10-wicket victory over them at Rajkot.  With GL suffering two back-to-back losses, it gives SRH ample chance to get the better of them, enabling Warner and his men to vouch for a spot in the top 4. Let’s have a look at the probable XI that David Warner and the team management might opt for today’s game. FULL CRICKET SCORECARD: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Gujarat Lions, IPL 2016, Match 34 at Hyderabad

Top order: Given the form David Warner is in right now, he remains to be untouchable at top of the order. Warner has so far amassed 386 runs in 7 games at a staggering strike-rate of 168.55. He will gain confidence that his 92-run knock helped his team win against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Shikhar Dhawan, who had somewhat regained his form back, will look to stamp his authority once again. Kane Williamson, who complimented Warner well against RCB and notched up a half-century, will again be an important cog in the SRH batting lineup.

Middle order: This is where the real problem lies with SRH, apart from Moises Henriques, no other batsmen has contributed with much consistency. Henriques has been both composed and flashy in his batting according to the team’s situation. Warner will be happy to see the inclusion of a fit Yuvraj Singh coming into the playing XI. Yuvraj, who was last seen playing for India in World T20, will want to get his A game from the very start. Naman Ohja was one of the key players during his time with Rajasthan Royals (RR) and has been anything but a mirror of himself from the past. Deepak Hooda keeps his place in the team because of his bowling skills as well.

Bowlers: SRH’s strong point has been their bowling with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustifizur Rahman both peaking at the same time.  Combined they both have picked up 18 wickets for SRH, which has enabled them to restricting opponents for low totals. Now that Ashish Nehra will be back into the playing XI, he will add another dimension to their already strong bowling unit. Barinder Sran bowled well in his last outing matching Kumar’s figures of 1 for 36. Knowing how strong GL”s batting line-up is, it will be important for Warner to pick  his bowlers at the right stage of the match .

Sunrisers Hyderabad playing XI:  David Warner (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Moises Henriques, Kane Williamson, Yuvraj Singh , Naman Ojha (wk), Deepak Hooda, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mustafizur Rahman, Barinder Sran, Ashish Nehra
