Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016.  The winner of the clash will head to face Gujarat Lions in Qualifier 2 of the playoffs. The match will be played at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. SRH had lost their last two matches but still managed to qualify for the playoffs. In their last match against KKR, they fell short of the target by 22 runs as the middle-order collapsed in quick succession. It cost them the No.1 spot in the Points Table of the ninth edition of IPL and left them at third. They will be looking to learn from their mistakes and give in a complete performance tonight. Let’s take a look at what could be their Playing XI against KKR. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: Sunrisers Hyderabad  vs  Kolkata Knight Riders , Eliminator match, IPL 2016

Top-order: SRH’s top-order has been the strength for them in this year’s IPL. Shikhar Dhawan didn’t have a good start to the IPL this year but he has looked in fine form in the last few matches and has spent a considerable amount of time at the crease. He even scored a 50 in the last match but it ended in a losing cause. David Warner, the SRH captain has also been remarkable at the top. Warner has not only taken his team off to flyer starts, he has also played the anchor role well at times. The Australian has scored 658 runs in 14 matches and has lead from the front. But what has been an area of concern for SRH is the No.3 slot. Almost all players have struggled at the position but Kane Williamson looks like the perfect holder for that slot. Middle-order: The middle-order with Yuvraj Singh featuring in it looks strong but that doesn’t mean it cannot fall like bricks. Yuvraj can certainly hit the big ones, but has got carried away too easily in the few matches he has played. Naman Ojha has been brilliant with the gloves for SRH. He hasn’t got too many chances with the bat but has failed to produce magic when he has got chances. Deepak Hooda can certainly do justice to his strike-rate but again hasn’t been able to deliver when given chances. He was unfortunately run-out in the last match against KKR and will surely look to make his mark in a crucial do-or-die game for his side.

Lower-order and Bowling: Moises Henriques, the Australian all-rounder has chipped in with wickets for SRH in the IPL this season but hasn’t really made most of his batting opportunities. He has been given chances almost everywhere in the batting order but has failed to improve his runs tally. Leg spinner Karn Sharma might miss out and SRH might just be keen to bring in Bipul Sharma as the former has given way too many runs while bowling.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar meanwhile, has been excellent this season. He has picked up 18 wickets in 14 matches and been a major contributor in SRH’s success. His role in the side becomes even more important after Ashish Nehra’s injury ruling him out. Barinder Sran has provided good support to the combination of Mustafizur Rahman and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He has picked 12 wickets in 11 matches. Mustafizur’s 4 overs will be key for SRH as he is lethal when at his best and very accurate in the death overs.

To sum it up, SRH’s foreign players will have to fulfill expectations of their fans to take them in to the 2nd Qualifier.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) XI vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR): Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner(c), Kane Williamson, Yuvraj Singh, Moises Henriques, Deepak Hooda, Naman Ojha(w), Bipul Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Barinder Sran, Mustafizur Rahman
