Younis Khan is in form of his life, and has been touching new heights regularly in recent times. Bharath Seervi lists some of the records and milestones he has achieved.
Younis Khan has had a great run in the ongoing Test series against Australia. He has scored centuries in each of the three innings Pakistan has batted in. He scored 106 and 103 not out in first Test at Dubai, and brought up another century, his 27th, in the first inning of the second match. In the process, he became only the fourth Pakistan batsman to score centuries in three consecutive Test innings, and only the second player after Herbert Sutcliffe (in 1924-25) to score centuries in three consecutive Test innings against Australia.

Centuries in Three consecutive Test innings against Australia
It took about 90 years for someone to score three centuries in three consecutive Test innings against Australia. Sutcliffe of England scored 115, 176 and 127 in the Ashes of 1924-25. Since then, only Younis has managed the feat.

He became the seventh Pakistan batsman to score centuries in both innings of a Test, feat which was first achieved by Hanif Mohammad in 1962 against England.

It is interesting to note that Javed Miandad, Inzamam and Younis all scored centuries in Pakistan’s first innings of the match to equal the then-record for most Test centuries for Pakistan, only to overcome the record by scoring another century in the second innings of the match.
