Mangalore: Dec 10, 2012
Former India skipper Anil Kumble on Monday said that he is hopeful that India can level the four-match Test series at Nagpur.
"I am hopeful that India can still do well in Nagpur, a centre where they have done well in the past and draw level," Anil was quoted as saying by Times of India.
He also said that it was not fair to judge the team based on a couple of losses.
"It is not fair to judge the Indian team by results in a couple of Test matches (Mumbai and Kolkata). Besides one must give due credit to England under Alastair Cook who have played well in Indian conditions," Kumble said.
According to Jaideep Shenoy’s report, Kumble was in Adyar near Mangalore on Monday at the inauguration of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore-KSCA Cricket Academy.
