India seamer Ashok Dinda on Wednesday said his side is ready for the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup, which begins in Sri Lanka next month.
Dinda, who claimed four wickets for 19 runs in India's 39-run win over Sri Lanka in the lone T20, cited lot of domestic cricket and the Indian Premier League as the reasons for the team’s idle preparations.
"Everyone is a very good cricketer and we are playing a lot of cricket in the domestic matches, in the IPL matches," Dinda said.
"So we have lots of experience in the IPL matches. I don't think we'll have any problems,” he was quoted as saying by Sportal.
Talking about his performance in the one-off Twenty20 against Sri Lanka, Dinda said, "Obviously 19 runs, four wickets and a maiden in three overs, it was an amazing performance.”
