The Asia Cup, which starts on March 11, 2012, involves world champions India, ICC 2011 World Cup runner-up India, ICC 2011 World Cup semi-finalist Pakistan and host nation Bangladesh.
The tournament comprises of six One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and each team will be playing each other once.
Former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram feels that MS Dhoni and Co. will start as favourites in the Asia Cup.
The top two teams on the points table will play face each other in the final to be played on March 22, 2012 at Shere Bangla National Stadum, Dhaka.
The Asia Cup 2012 tournament is a part of Future Cricket Tour Programs (FTP) prepared by International Cricket Council (ICC).
