Out of the Australian bowlers, only Brett Lee has more experience when it comes to bowling in Caribbean conditions, and coach Mickey Arthur feels the right-arm pacer is valuable to the squad will be asked to pass on his knowledge to the other bowlers in the lead-up to Friday's opening one-day international in St Vincent.
"Brett needs to lead by example," Arthur was quoted saying by the Sydney Morning Herald.
"He needs to set the trend for us and let the other guys follow.
"Outside of Brett it's still a fairly young and inexperienced attack ... Brett's the only one who's played here so he certainly needs to lead the way and share a lot of his experiences with the rest of the bowling attack."
Arthur admitted such a quick turnaround is a new experience for him.
"I've never finished a series and gone on to another series straightaway.
"That's foreign and it's tough ... those are the challenges we face but that's part and parcel of touring. We've just got to make sure we've got the guys ready for that."
