Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to field first against Sydney Sixers in their opening clash of Champions League T20 2012 at Johannesberg on Sunday
CSK have been the most consistent side in the Indian Premier League, while Sydney Sixers are playing the tournament for the first time.
Chennai has a strong top order with Murali Vijay and Michael Hussey likely to open the batting and Suresh Raina expected to come in at number three.
Ravichandran Ashwin will lead CSK’s bowling charge.
Sydney will be led by Australia’s Test wicket-keeper Brad Haddin and he will have the services of players like Shane Watson, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Michael Lumb among others.
