Andrew Flintoff said England all-rounder Tim Bresnan shouldn’t be compared with him, and added that one should appreciate the fact that he is just Bresnan.
"It's hard for any young all-rounder coming into the side after Botham. You get the label and we've never really replaced Botham. I did alright for a little bit but Bresnan's not a replacement for me," Flintoff was quoted saying by The Sun.
"He's just brilliant, and, I don't think people appreciate what he does. He's obviously very talented as well, but he's strong. He does the hard yards.
"When it's swinging and nothing is happening, he is like a carthorse. He gets his head down and gets on with it. And I don't think we've seen the best of Bresnan with the bat. He's averaging well but I think there's more to come.
