England captain Alastair Cook has won toss and elected to bat in the second One-Day International (ODI) at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
England rebounded from their humiliating Test showing with a comprehensive 130-run victory in the first day-night international here on Monday.
The visitors rode on a brilliant skipper's knock of 137 by Alastair Cook -- his best in one-day internationals -- and Ravi Bopara's 50 to cruise to 260-7 in their 50 overs. Patel gave the finishing touches with a brisk 17 not out.
Paceman Steven Finn then rocked Pakistan with a burst of 4-34, his career best, before Patel took 3 for 26 with his left-arm spin to bowl their rivals out for a mere 130.
Pakistan never recovered after Finn claimed their top four batsmen in just 29 balls and Younis believes that lack of partnerships let the team down.
For Pakistan, Afridi top-scored with 38 as they were bowled out in 35 overs.
Teams:
England: Alastair Cook (C), Kevin Pietersen, Jonathan Trott, Ravi Bopara, Eoin Morgan, Craig Kieswetter (WK), Samit Patel, Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann, James Anderson, Steve Finn
Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (C), Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal (WK), Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Abdur Rehman, Azhar Ali, Aizaz Cheema
