C Sneharaj, a former Kerala Cricket Association vice-president, passed away at Alapuzha today after suffering a heart attack.

 

He was 59 and is survived by wife and two children.

 

Sneharaj, an experienced curator and state-panel cricket umpire, died immediately after experiencing some uneasiness in his chest this morning.

 

He was handling the pitch preparation of the ongoing project at SD college allepey when the end came.

 

Sneharaj, from Thrissur, was a familiar face in Kerala cricket and served many years in different roles in the cricket administration, KCA said in a statement.

 

KCA Secretary, TC Mathew condoled his death.
