Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) might face a legal battle against former Australian batsman Geoff Marsh as the board informed that they have received a demand letter from Marsh after he was sacked five months ago.
Sri Lanka Cricket president Upali Dharmadasa confirmed that Marsh had sent a letter of demand, but declined to discuss further saying it is a legal matter.
Sri Lanka fired Geoff Marsh as the national team's cricket coach in January only three months into his two-year contract, replacing him with former South Africa coach Graham Ford.
However SLC didn't explain why it sacked Marsh, who had been in charge for only two Test series and held a contract though till September 2013.
