England off-spinner Graeme Swann on Sunday denied role in Kevin Pietersen's controversial parody account.
Swann took a dig at Pietersen's friend and journalist Piers Morgan and wrote on his Twitter page, "Sorry to disappoint all you Piers Morgan fans but KP's parody had nothing to do with me. I suggest a warm cocoa and an early night.
Earlier, Kevin Pietersen reportedly appealed for an official England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) inquiry in the alleged involvement of James Anderson and Graeme Swann in the parody Twitter account on his name."
Former News of the World editor Piers Morgan hinted that some of the England players could be behind the parody Twitter account, named 'KP Genius' which mocked the star batsman.
Morgan on his account tweeted that Pietersen's team-mate Swann had connections with the parody account - 'KP Genius' which had angered Pietersen.
He tweeted, "I wonder if @Bailsthebadger knows anything about that KP parody account? He is, after all, close pals with several top England cricketers.
