Mumbai Indians skipper Harbhajan Singh won the toss and chose to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders in their IPL 2012 clash at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Herschelle Gibbs is set to play his first match this season for Mumbai, while Munaf Patel comes in for RP Singh.
Kolkata included Shakib Al Hasan for Pradeep Sangwan and Manvinder Bisla comes in for Brendon McCullum, who has picked up a finger injury.
