Herschelle Gibbs on Saturday signed a deal with English county cricket club Durham for the forthcoming domestic T20 competition.
"Durham are really committed to their on-the-field development and have real ambitions to progress in T20," Gibbs was quoted saying by Sports24.
"There is some massive talent in the dressing room and I can't wait to see what we can achieve. I've been performing pretty well in the T20 format and I think I can offer some real variation to the side," he said.
Gibbs will once again join former England batsman Paul Collingwood after the pair played for Perth in Australia's Big Bash League and guided them to the finals.
