West Indies openers Johnson Charles and Chris Gayle scored fifties as West Indies scored 179 runs against England in the Super Eights of World T20.
Gayle gave a blistering start to the West Indies innings as Darren Sammy earlier opted to bat first.
Gayle scored 58 runs before being dismissed by spinner Graeme Swann in the 11th over. Marlon Samuels followed immediately without troubling the scorers.
Charles however continued to blast the English bowlers as he scored a calculated fifty in the 13th over. He was dismissed by Jade Dernbach in the 18th over for 84 runs.
Earlier West Indies captain Darren Sammy won the toss and elected to bat first.
