# Kumar Sangakkara and Mendis added 94 for the fourth-wicket partnership - Sri Lanka's highest in the ICC World Twenty20. The said partnership is also their highest for the fourth wicket against Zimbabwe in T20Is.

 

# Jeevan Mendis (3 for 24) registered his best bowling figures in T20Is.

 

# Sangakkara's 44 off 26 balls is his highest score against Zimbabwe in Twenty20 Internationals.

# The only Sri Lankan bowler to concede less than ten runs in a four-over spell twice is Ajantha Mendis. He had first recorded the distinction against the West Indies - 4-0-9-2 at The Oval on June 19, 2009.

 

# Mendis became the first Sri Lankan bowler to bowl two maiden overs in a four-over spell in a T20I. Shaun Tait had delivered two maiden overs in the 2010 World Twenty20, registering the feat against Bangladesh.
