Sachin Tendulkar praised Rohit Sharma’s match winning innings for Mumbai Indians (MI) against Deccan Chargers (DC), applauding the youngster’s effort on twitter. Rohit hit a six off the last ball to take Mumbai home in a thrilling encounter.
Tendulkar tweeted: ‘Brilliant batting by Rohit. Keep it going buddy!!!’(sic)
Even skipper Harbhajan Singh referred to his batting as ‘gem of an innings’. Tendulkar has constantly praised Sharma’s batting prowess even various occasions.
Earlier at Mukesh Ambani’s party celebrating his 100th hundred, Tendulkar was asked about any player whom he expected to go past his records. The master blaster had mentioned the name of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
The 39-year-old has been out of action from IPL after being hit on the index finger by Doug Bollinger against CSK during the opening match of IPL 5.
The Little Master updated about his injury on twitter and posted a photograph of the injured finger as well. Mumbai Indians have been missing the experience of Tendulkar after faltering in a chase against Pune warriors and barely managing to scrape through against Deccan Chargers.
