The official media guide of the Indian Premier League was given away to the scribes covering the penultimate game at the Wankhede Stadium between home team Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The IPL is in its fifth year, but this was the first occasion a media guide has been prepared for the cash-rich tournament.
"We have distributed the media guide to every home centre this week, over the last three days," said a Cricket Board source when inquired whether the booklet had been distributed to all media persons.
The guide contains details about the tournament, including playing conditions, that started on April 4 and is set to conclude on May 27.(PTI)
