Michael Vaughan tweeted his dissatisfaction about the exclusion of spinners in India A’s squad, which will be playing warm-up match against England starting October 30 at the Brabourne stadium.

Vaughan questioned Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)’s tactics for announcing such a squad. He tweeted, “India to play no spinners against England in the A team warm-up game ... if that's what the game has come to???? Pathetic tactics.”

The side will be led by Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh has been included in the squad after his recent performance in the Duleep Trophy.

He further tweetd, “I don’t think its (sic) in the Spirit of game. Prepare wickets which suit your team (spinning tracks) that should be enough… Poor form!!!"

"India's tactics are terrible for the game... It's taking home advantage to a new level... Other teams might follow."

The decision to go without spinners was also questioned by former England player David Lloyd.

He tweeted, “No spinner in India A team vs England....totally lacking in class and style decision.”

The bowling attack of the side would be spearheaded by Irfan Pathan and he will have Ashok Dinda and Vinay Kumar to assist him.
