England will be aiming for proper preparation ahead of the Test series, as they will be playing as many as three warm-up matches.
The tourists played their first warm-up match against India A at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai from Oct 30 – Nov 1, 2012, which ended in a draw.
The second warm-up game was against Mumbai A side, at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
The formerly ranked No 1 England side will play their third and final warm-up match against Haryana in Ahmedabad.
The opening Test will be played at Ahmedabad from November 15-19. The second Test will be held in Mumbai (Nov 23-27) while the third and fourth matches will be played in Kolkata (Dec 5-9) and Nagpur (Dec 13-17).
England will also play two T20 internationals - on December 20 in Pune and in Mumbai on December 22 - to return home for Christmas.
Cook-led England will return to India in early January 2013 for a five-match One-Day Internationals series.
