Jonty Rhodes, who was rumored to be one of the Bigg Boss 5 participants but failed to appear on the reality show, confirmed that the news of his participation was true.
"Yes, I was supposed to be participating in `Bigg Boss 5`. But at the last moment, things didn`t work out. I decided to opt out because they weren`t paying enough. I was keen to be a part of it," he said.
Jonty, who`s been the coach for Mumbai Indians, is excited to leave for a two-week vacation with his photographer-girlfriend Caroline Mc Clelland in Geneva.
"It`s been long that we haven`t met. I got busy with the Champions` Trophy. Finally, I`ve got a break."
