Tarot reader Shruti Chopra looks into her cards to give CricketCountry.com readers exclusive insights into what lies ahead in the IPL matches. In the below piece, she dwells into the Pune Warriors vs Kolkata Knight Riders game – the second of the two IPL matches on Saturday.
The Warriors aren't going to be pushovers. Despite their mental stresses they - like the Two of Wands - are looking to work well as a unit through great advice from the team management. They will look to pull out a strong performance, reflecting their initial tournament form. Like the Death card, they are looking to change around their disappointments and make this a tough challenge.
Sourav Ganguly will have a good day with the bat. He will be like the Queen of Pentacles and will look to accumulate runs at a brisk pace. He will wish to showcase what is expected of him as a strong batsman. In comparison, his captaincy will feel like a challenge. He will look to adapt himself better and be more flexible with his plans. Like the Fool, it's a day to take risks and experiment.
Michael Clarke will be like the Ace of Wands and the Hermit – wisely aggressive. A good all round performance should be expected.
Steve Smith will be the Star; he will be in command and have the ability to help the team recover and rejuvenate its energies. A strong day for him.
Robin Uthappa will also have a good day. He will score runs quickly and provide the team with the required support.

Rahul Sharma will bring about some important breakthroughs. He will have a good day with the ball.
Murali Kartik will be graced with the Sun and the Emperor. A good day for him to contribute in all areas of the game successfully. An important player for Pune.
The Knight Riders are looking aggressive and ready to charge ahead. They, like the Ace of Cups are ready to take a positive outlook, create balance and like the Lovers, they will build strong partnerships. The Death card shows their ability to turn the situation to their benefit. Although a tough day, the Knight Riders will enjoy the challenge posed to them.
Gautam Gambhir has the Judgement and the Ace of Wands card. He will be aggressive and looking to build a strong innings. He will have a good day with the bat, but will need to be careful of getting into a negative mindset. As a captain he will be commanding and look to take calculative risks which will pay off for him.
Brendon McCullum will build strong partnerships and like the Magician, he will be able to manipulate his batting to his advantage. A good day for him.
Jacques Kallis will be wise like the Hermit and commanding as the Emperor. He will display a strong all round performance and look to provide his inputs, which will be highly beneficial.
Yusuf Pathan will need to keep things simple. Too much confusion from the Seven of Cups can undo his positive intent. A day where he has huge potential to perform.
Manoj Tiwary will be balanced and fresh in his outlook. He will look to take risks with his batting and enjoy his day thoroughly.
Sunil Narine will have another good day. He will bring out his potential, look to implement plans and provide important breakthroughs.
Lakshmipathy Balaji, like the Nine of Cups, will be pleased with his bowling performance, and so will his team. It will be a good day for him as he will bowl with good rhythm.
