Zimbabwe reached 91 for the loss of two wickets against Bangladesh in the first session on Day One of the first Test at Bridgetown on Tuesday.
The visitors lost the wickets of Vusi Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza in the opening session of the Test. However, opener Tino Mawoyo was still at the crease with skipper Brendon Taylor for company. The duo added an unbeaten stand of 32 runs for the third wicket after pacer Kemar Roach struck twice.
Zimbabwe have come into the match after a 3-0 defeat in the One-Day International series and later a 2-0 whitewash in the T20 series against the same opposition.
Earlier in the day, Zimbabwe skipper Taylor won the toss and elected to bat first.
