Kevin Pietersen was left out of England's World Twenty20 squad as well as the squad for ODI series against South Africa . Ravi Bopara was selected in both the squad.
Pietersen was dropped from the England squad for the third Test at the Lord’s after he was caught texting South African players during the Headingly Test.
Pietersen had apologised for the texts without specifying their content, but former England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Lord MacLaurin told the BBC on Sunday that if the allegations are proven, Pietersen will most likely not play for England again.
