West Indies will hope for a win in the final ODI and seal series against Bangladesh, when they clash in the fifth ODI at Mirpur on Saturday.
In the fourth ODI, West Indies beat Bangladesh comprehensively by 75 runs in the fourth One-Day Internationals at Dhaka on Friday to level the five-match series.
Skipper Darren Sammy and Kemar Roach reduced the hosts to 13 for five within 5.3 overs.
However, Mamuddulah led Bangladesh’s fightback with a gritty half-century. He added 74 runs with skipper Mushfiqur Rahim for the sixth wicket to revive their innings. However, the lower order didn’t provide enough support to Mahmuddulah as Bangladesh innings folded at 136.
Earlier, West Indies managed just 211 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) match against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium at Dhaka.
