Australia are in command of the third Test as India lost two wickets in the first session of third day’s play at Perth.  India reached 165 runs for the loss of six wickets at lunch.

 

Earlier Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid lead Indian fight back with a gritty 84–run partnership before Dravid was bowled for 47 runs by Ryan Harris.

 

Earlier on day two spirited bowling performance by Umesh Yadav helped India bundle out Australia for 369 runs

 

Indian batting continued to struggle in the second innings as Australia successfully penetrated through the top-order. 

 

India trails Australia by 43 runs on day three. Virat Kohli is unbeaten on 69 runs.

 

Brief Scores: India 161 all-out & 165 for 6 (Virat Kohli 69*, Rahul Dravid 47, Gautam Gambhir 14; Mitchell Starc 2 for 31, Peter Siddle 2 for 37) trail Australia 369 (David Warner 180, Ed Cowan 74, Peter Siddle 30; Umesh Yadav 5 for 93) by 43 runs.
