Auckland: Mar 22, 2013

With Kevin Pietersen ruled out of the third and final Test match at Auckland against New Zealand, Jonny Bairstow will replace him and act as the deputy.

Pietersen missed out due to knee injury and has also been ruled out of IPL 2013.

Monty Panesar is likely to play even though all-rounder Chris Woakes’ name is also doing the round if the pitch is more receptive to spin.

For the Black Caps, Doug Bracewell is slotted to be back in the squad. As a result Bruce Martin may miss out.

The first two Test matches ended in a draw. The third and final Test could be the decider for the two teams.
