Antigua: Jul 25, 2012

West Indies will look to maintain their winning run from limited-overs cricket to the Test series against New Zealand, as the first match begins on Wednesday at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

New Zealand won the two Test series 1-0 when these two teams last played in the Caribbean in 2002. This was New Zealand's first and only victory in the West Indies.

With the return of Daniel Vettori and Chris Martin into the Test team, the Kiwis will be desperate to turn their fortunes around on what has been a wretched tour for them so far.

West Indies have not won a Test against New Zealand since 1995. They defeated the Kiwis in their own backyard when a special knock by Brian Lara helped the Windies win the Test at Wellington. They will look to set the record straight this time around.

Teams:

West Indies: Chris Gayle, Kieran Powell, Asad Fudadin, Marlon Samuels, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Darren Sammy (c), Sunil Narine, Narsingh Deonarine, Ravi Rampaul, Kemar Roach.

New Zealand: Martin Guptill, Daniel Flynn, Ross Taylor (c), Dean Brownlie, Doug Bracewell, Brendon McCullum, Kane Williamson, Kruger van Wyk (wK), Daniel Vettori, Neil Wagner, Chris Martin, Neil Wagner.
