Somerset have pulled off a stunning victory over Warriors in a must-win Champions League match at Bengaluru.
Earlier after winning the toss, Somerset had set a target of 147 for Warriors in a must-win Champions League match at Bengaluru.
Craig Kieswetter top scored for Somerset with 56 runs off 52 balls. He built a partnership of 48 runs with Roelef van der Merwe who played a cameo of 32 runs off just 16 balls before being dismissed by JJ Smuts.
Warriors were moving comfortably in their run chase as they had lost only wicket at the end of 10 overs but lost four more in next five overs, courtesy of a disciplined bowling effort by Somerset.
Warriors are out of the tournament while advance to the semi-finals.
Brief Score: Somerset 146 for 4 in 20 overs (Craig Kieswetter 56, Roelef van der Mewe 32; Johan Botha 1 for 20) beat Warriors 134 for 8 in 20 overs (JJ Smuts 38, Colin Ingram 31; Alfonso Thomas 2 for 16) by 12 runs.
