Australian captain Michael Clarke heaped lavish praises on Ryan Harris, rating the pacer as equal to any fast bowler with whom he has played.
''We get Ryan Harris back, who is as good a fast bowler as I have played with through my career, and he's had a lot of success, so I'm really confident our attack, whether we go with three quicks or four quicks, can do a really good job,'' Clarke was quoted saying in Brisbane Times.
''I think these conditions are obviously going to suit fast bowling, especially on day one, and the new ball is going to be an important part of this match the whole way through.
Harris has taken 35 wickets at an average of 21 in his eight Tests. He also took nine wickets in the Perth victory over England last summer.
''Ryano bowls high 140 kilometres an hour and runs in hard so like any fast bowler we would like to see him get some momentum and play for a long period of time,'' Clarke said.
''In series like this with back-to-back Test matches there is always extra strain on the guys. I would love to see Ryano play every Test match now for the rest of his career. Who knows how long that's going to go for?
''He's in a good place, fit and strong at the moment, he's bowling as good as I've seen in the nets and I know he is looking forward to this opportunity.''
