Steven Finn finished with three wickets in the third ODI at Auckland
Auckland: Nov 23, 2013
England bowlers enjoyed a field day as they ate into the New Zealand batting line-up to bowl the home side out for a paltry 185 in the third One-Day International at Auckland on Saturday.
Alastair Cook won the toss and put the Kiwis in to bat and his bowlers did well to strike early. The Kiwis were reeling at 11 for three in the eighth over and needed a partnership going their way in order to make anything of this game.
Former skipper Ross Taylor and Grant Elliot put on a 53-run stand for the fourth wicket but the England bowlers continued to dominate.
After Elliott's departure with the score at 64, the Kiwis lost a couple of quick wickets again and it took a captain's knock from Brendon McCullum to take New Zealand to 185.
Brief Scores: New Zealand 185 (Brendon McCullum 79, Ross Taylor 28; Steven Finn 3 for 27) vs England
