Former spinner Tauseef Ahmed is likely to replace Qadir, while Nawaz’s replacement is yet to be decided.
“Nawaz wanted new terms and conditions in his contract,” the official told The Express Tribune.
“We didn’t agree since he was already getting a decent sum. I think he lost interest because his wish of becoming a part of the PCB set-up till 2015 was never going to get fulfilled.”
The official added that all former cricketers were getting a daily allowance of Rs 2500, while travelling and accommodation charges were being borne by the PCB, adding that a sum of Rs 700,000 was also to be given to Nawaz for his services over the three months.
