Batsman Raqibul Hasan will captain the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI in Thursday’s limited-over practice match against Australia at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium.
Australia, who arrived in the capital on Monday night, under new captain Michael Clarke, will hope to get as much match practice as possible from their lone warm-up game before they go on to play three one-day internationals against Bangladesh on April 9, 11 and 13 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
Bangladesh would be hoping to hit the winning ways after their disappointing first round exit from the World Cup following a heavy defeat at the hands of South Africa.
