West Indies, after winning the toss, were dismissed for 370 on the second day of the second Test against England at Trent Bridge on Saturday.

Marlon Samuels (117) and captain Darren Sammy (106) both made hundreds during a West Indies record seventh wicket stand against England of 204.

Samuels's hundred was only his third at this level while Sammy's was his first in Tests.

The tourists resumed Saturday on 304 for six, with Samuels 107 not out and Sammy a then Test-best 88 not out.

But both batsmen fell in quick succession to Tim Bresnan, with the Yorkshire seamer also dismissing tailender Kemar Roach in a spell of three wickets for 10 runs in 19 balls.

Bresnan finished with figures of four for 104 in 27 overs after off-spinner Graeme Swann, with only his second ball Saturday, ended the innings by having Shane Shillingford stumped by Matt Prior for 16. Ravi Rampaul was six not out.
