Explosive opener Virender Sehwag admitted that it was for the first time he played a maiden over in 10 years during his innings against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
Sehwag had to restrain his shots against a fiery Lasith Malinga, who mowed through Delhi Daredevils batting in Mumbai Indian's eight wicket win over Delhi Daredevils at Feroze Shah Kotla.
"Yes, I think after 10 years I played a maiden today. It was a plan. We lost two wickets so I thought let me play Malinga because others may not be able to pick him," said the Delhi Daredevils skipper
Lasith Malinga was pick of the bowlers for Mumbai Indians, finishing with his best figures of 5-13 in IPL.
