Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of the Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders and also the face of the upcoming Champions League T20, has appealed to cricket organisers to start a Champions League- 45, where he and other people aged at 45 or more can play cricket on a professional level.
“I want to play sports seriously. I would love to be a part of Champions League-45, where I would love to make my dream come true,” SRK was quoted by Daily Bhaskar.
“My inclination towards sports goes back to the days in Delhi, when I would play at zonal level as a wicket-keeper. I would love to relive those moments at the age of 45 now.”
“I would plead to the organisers for the same, in fact, I have always recommended myself to them in the times of crisis, when the players can’t play due to injuries,” he added.
