The first Twenty20 International between Pakistan and South Africa was washed off due to rain at Kingsmead, Durban on Friday.
Rain fell for most of the afternoon, even through the scheduled time for the toss. The pitch area was covered by large puddles of water forcing the match officials to call off the tie.
The second match between the two teams will be played at Centurion on Sunday.
