Sri Lanka opt to bat against India in third ODI at Colombo

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to bat against India in their third One-Day International at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Saturday.  

 

The five-match ODI series is levelled with both the sides winning a game each. While India thrashed the Lankans in the first ODI by 21 runs, Sri Lanka settled the scores with their crushing nine-wicket win in the second.

 

Both the matches were played at Hambantota.

 

Sri Lanka have made one change in their side, bringing in Jeevan Mendis in place of Lahiru Thirimanne.

 

India have brought in Rahul Sharma and Ashok Dinda in place of Pragyan Ojha and Umesh Yadav.
