She will be there right through the ICC T20 World Cup 2012 to give CricketCountry.com readers tarot card predictions of each and every match in the championship. In the below piece, she dwells into South Africa’s opening game against Zimbabwe on Thursday.

The South Africans may not fulfill all their plans to perfection, but they will certainly be positive as the Star card indicates. With the Queen of Cups and Six of Swordsappearing, they will be passively aggressive, therefore will not try too hard and will play their natural game. Bowling, batting and fielding all show consistency, but they will need to be weary of the Five of Pentacles which warns of a few batting lapses.
AB de Villiers will be an easy going and confident captain. Like the Nine of Cups, he will keep the team together and will be quite content with their performance. ThePage of Swords does highlight risky batting and occasional waywardness with the wicket-keeping, which he will need to be watchful about. Overall, it’s a good day for him.
Key players
Hashim Amla will have a positive start as indicated by Nine of Pentacles, but he will come under pressure and will find it tough to maintain his start.
Jacques Kallis is like the Hierophant – reliable and balanced. He will have a strong all round performance.
Albie Morkel will have a challenging day. He will strive for balance and consistency, but overall will struggle to achieve this.
Morne Morkel is looking confident with the ball. Like the Ace of Wands, he will appear to have strong intent and will be successful in doing so.
Dale Steyn will be aggressive and successful, but should be careful of complacency.
Zimbabwe are like the Nine of Swords, disturbed and unable to understand how to regain balance. Despite this, their mental state will grow stronger and will show that they have managed to leave behind some concerns from their previous game. The implementation of their plans will be better and, like the Ace of Pentacles, they will take risks that will occasionally pay off. Unfortunately their finishing will be weak.
Brendan Taylor will be strong and pro-active captain as indicated by the Two of Wands. He will bring his team together by motivating them well. As a batsman, he will refrain from being impulsive and will, like the Knight of Pentacles play a steady innings.
Key players
Hamilton Masakadza, like the Four of Pentacles will have a slow innings but will accumulate runs at a consistent pace.
Craig Ervine will maintain a healthy strike rate, but like the Two of Pentacles, he will be weary of being over-aggressive.
Prosper Utseya, like the Three of Cups, will have his moments of celebration with the ball. He will focus hard and receive results.
Graeme Cremer will start of well, but he should be careful of being over impulsive and losing direction.
Malcolm Waller will be like the Queen of Swords - have strong ideas, but will be unable to live up to the promise.
