Deccan Chargers
The Seven of Wands along with the Hierophant show that the Chargers are looking to dominate through balanced and well planned strategies. Yet their fielding and batting is not looking to hold up. They will show moments of great potential, but will find it hard to be consistent.
Kumar Sangakkara will have a good start as a batsman, but like the Nine of Swords, he won't be able to sustain this. As a captain, he will struggle to resolve repetitive issues. He will be unsure of which ideas to implement.
Key players
Dale Steyn will have a good start. He will be commanding and aggressive. With the King of Pentacles, he will show certain dominance, but not without giving away too many runs.
Cameron White will have plans that won't work. He will try to dominate the opposition, but his attempt is looking unsuccessful.
Daniel Christian will be steady and have good direction. It will be a strong day for him.
Shikhar Dhawan will be able to change the tide and provide the team with strength. He, like the King of Wands be adaptable and be able to accumulate runs quickly.
Amit Mishra will have a few problems to overcome. With the Nine of Pentacles, he will find it tough to stem the flow of runs.
Juan Theron will have a tough start, but will regain his direction and have a steady end to his spell.
Delhi Daredevils
The Ten of Wands and the Star show the Daredevil's ability to recover and regain their position, despite feeling the pressure of it. They will have moments of shakiness, but they also carry a strong desire to take the opposition's challenge and adapt themselves to succeed. It will be a test of their abilities.
Virender Sehwag will have a temperamental innings, where in moments he will look as soft as the King of Cups, but then change this into aggression. As a captain, he will lead the team well; providing them with good direction and the encouragement to recover from any situation.
Key players
Mahela Jayawardene will be like the Sun – fresh, strong and confident. He will look to regain old form and do this with success.
David Warner has a combination of the Queen of Swords and the King of Pentacles; which explains that he will be well planned, forthright and build an innings at a confident pace.
Irfan Pathan will work very hard to bring out his High Priestess potential. His independent game plans will bring about a good day for him.
Morne Morkel won't have the most comfortable start, but luckily, the Temperance does show him balancing himself out with a more confident bowling spell.
Umesh Yadav will have a slow start, but patience will be the key. He will develop the right combination of aggression and direction. It will turn out to be a better day.
Shahbaz Nadeem will tempt the opposition into playing the wrong shots. He will have a good day.
